MHP Deputy Chairman Durmaz: "There is no negotiation with the terrorist organization"

Deputy Chairman Sadir Durmaz visited Van as part of the "National Unity and Solidarity Meetings for a Terror-Free Turkey," organized by the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP ) under the theme "Centennial Unity, Eternal Brotherhood." Party members from Ağrı, Bitlis, Hakkari, Iğdır, Kars, Muş, Siirt, and Şırnak provinces attended the meeting, hosted by the MHP Van Provincial Headquarters at the Van Evliya Çelebi MTAL Application Hotel Conference Hall.
Following a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, MHP Deputy Chairman Sadir Durmaz delivered a speech, stating that the "Turkey Without Terrorism" goal, set forth with the resolute stance of Party Leader Devlet Bahçeli and transformed into state will by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, is the name of strengthening national unity, reinforcing brotherhood, and uniting around national ideals.
Deputy Chairman Durmaz said, "As the Nationalist Movement Party, we consider eradicating terrorism and ensuring lasting peace and security in these lands to be our greatest debt and responsibility to the Turkish nation. On this occasion, I would like to emphasize that there is no negotiation with a terrorist organization or concessions made to terrorism in any part of the goal of a Terror-Free Turkey. No steps have been taken, and will be taken, to harm our martyrs, veterans, or their families. There is nothing being hidden from our nation. There is no discussion of the first four articles of the Constitution, nor of Articles 42 and 66. As our Chairman Devlet Bahçeli has stated, 'Everyone who is bound to the Republic of Turkey through the bond of citizenship, regardless of their origin, sect, region, or mother tongue, is equal before the law.' The Republic of Turkey is the state of all of us. Our memories are one, our pain is one, our morality is one, our prayers are one, and our future will be one, God willing."
Underlining that brotherhood is the essence of these lands, Durmaz said, "From here, I say to the political brokers who are trying to agitate the Terror-Free Turkey process that started with the initiative taken by our Leader, to the impudent people who talk way out of their way, to the bagmen, to the looters, to the provocateurs who quietly packed their bags and resigned from our party shortly before the treacherous coup attempt of July 15th, to the key makers who were expelled from their parties by being told to 'go to another door' and who have been fitting every lock looking for a door ever since: If you had drawn even a little inspiration from our party, from our blessed hearth, which you joined by chance in the past or pretended to have joined, if you had acquired a little consciousness of cause, you would not be serving the same purpose as Israel today, you would be standing with the unity and brotherhood of the Turkish Nation. This shame would be more than enough for you for a lifetime. This meeting we are organizing today is not only for Van, but for everyone from Ağrı to Bitlis, from Hakkari to Iğdır, "It is the common voice, the common breath of all our brothers in the region, from Kars to Muş, from Siirt to Şırnak," he said.
